Know Before You Go

It鈥檚 time to start packing for Camp Dillo, and this special edition of the PawPrint has everything you need to enjoy the great outdoors safely.

Pick Up Your Wristbands

May 16-17, 2122 Sheridan Rd, Performance Hall

 by 2 p.m. on Friday, May 17. Wristbands cannot be picked up on the day of Dillo. A valid Wildcard or government-issued ID, along with the six-digit confirmation code, must be presented at pickup. Students must also have a photo of their registered guests’ government-issued IDs ready.

Important Reminders

  • Enter Dillo Village at the Norris East Lawn.
  • Prohibited items include recording equipment, glass containers, outside beverages, hammocks, umbrellas, weapons, and tents.
  • Handheld metal detectors will be used upon entry and all bags will be searched.

VentureCat Public Showcase

May 22, 6:00-8:00 PM, Kellogg Global Hub, White Auditorium

VentureCat is 黑丝内射视频’s annual student startup competition and celebrates the University’s most promising student founders.

Join us for the to watch the six finalist teams pitch their startups. You will get the chance to vote for the audience favorite prize and we will announce our finals prize winners–including the grand prize of $100,000. This year, we're welcoming past grand-prize winners, Ben Preston '21 and Charlotte Oxnam '23, to serve as the event emcees!


Virtual Student Debrief Space

May 23, 5:00-6:00 PM 
This hour serves to connect students in an inclusive space, to debrief around the Israel & Palestine Speaker Series.  This event will be virtual and a link will be shared with.


Food Trucks on Campus

May 29, 2024, 2:00-4:00 PM, Evanston Campus

The Office of the Provost invites all students, faculty and staff to stop by across the Evanston campus for free Italian ice, churros, funnel cakes, ice cream treats and whoopie pies while supplies last. There’s always room for (free!) dessert.


US Bank Mini Course: Protecting Yourself Against Fraud & Identity Theft

May 21, 6:00-7:00 PM, Wildcat Room, Norris University Center

In our constantly advancing technology-enabled world, identity theft and frauds are more prevalent than ever. , ways you might be making yourself vulnerable, how you can protect yourself, and what to do if you're a victim of identity theft.  Food will be served.


Red Watch Band Alcohol Bystander Intervention Trainings

Have you ever had to help a drunk friend but weren’t sure exactly what you were doing? to learn more. The training will provide you with the knowledge and skills needed to identify and intervene effectively in an alcohol-related medical emergency. You’ll learn about signs and symptoms of alcohol poisoning, how to prevent and/or respond to an alcohol emergency; and the truth behind common alcohol-related myths.

Jumpstart Corps Member Applications Now Open

May 17

. Eligible Federal Work-Study students earn $14 per hour, and all students receive $1,290 to use towards tuition or student loans after 300 hours.

Students gain classroom experience and training in education and emotional development, build relationships with children and teachers at local partner schools, and develop leadership and teamwork skills to prepare them for future careers.

Do you love kids? Want to be better connected to your Evanston neighbors? Interested in issues of education equity? You are invited to apply to work for Books and Breakfast, a morning before-school program supporting Evanston kids and addressing historic inequities in the school system.

2024 Wildcat Excellence Gratitude Celebration

Tuesday, May 28 from 6:00-8:00 PM, Louis Room, Norris

The  is an annual celebration event that recognizes and honors the outstanding leadership of our students, staff, faculty, student organizations, and their advisors. The end-of-year event is open to the entire 黑丝内射视频 community and recognizes and extends gratitude for how NU members support and care for one another, lead with justice and equity at the center, and serve NU and the local Evanston and Chicago communities.


 

Drop-In Peer Tutoring

Come see the ASLA Peer Tutors for help with variety of courses! You can find them Sunday through Thursday at Schapiro Hall, Shepard Hall, Elder Lounge, the Multicultural Center, and the GSRC.
Subjects covered include biology, general chemistry, organic chemistry, economics, engineering analysis, math, physics, and statistics.


Student Affairs Marketing Needs Photographers & Videographers for Fall 2024

SAM is looking for talented and dependable photographers, videographers, as well as photo/video editors. (or any combination of those) for Fall Quarter 2024. Ideally we would like to get you familiar with the team and your role this quarter.
